The Catholic school performs an essential service for the Church and to society.  As one of the vital evangelizing bodies of the Church, the Catholic school guarantees the freedom and right of families to see that their children receive the sort of education they wish for them.

The mission of making Catholic education accessible and available to all youth, especially those encumbered by poverty is a critical challenge facing many Catholic schools today. The education that the Catholic school provides consists of programs that instill within the members of the school community a deep sense social justice.  Thus, the Catholic educational community and its graduates must be witnesses to the power of the Word and should strive to transform society.
